Nothing says fall like mums and pumpkins. I’ve yet to purchase one this year. So that I’m not without them I’m trying to add some of the true perennial varieties.

Sue, I often plant early mum purchases into the ground. When the weather cooperates and they receive enough water they often overwinter well. Dividing them in the spring usually gives me ample lovely mum transplants to grace my autumn garden.
