103 yesterday, an all time record for CT. It’s like gardening in a slow oven. Your snow pictures really refreshed me. I am going to go pull up my winter photos and cool off now!

Thanks for the much needed reminder…

Perhaps in a Sam McGee (of Robert W. Service’s poem fame) kind of moment, I didn’t really mind the heat. Of course that’s easy to say when one has the means to cool down. I certainly would not want to be out roofing in this weather (or any weather for that matter). Well, enough of this chit-chat, time to go out and wax the snow plow.

Great post, Joene. I should take some photos of my thirsty-looking wilting plants to remind myself of this in January when it’s -20.

    Laurrie, Debbie and Jean,
I often look back at winter photos during heat waves and as summer photos during winter just to remind me that all things, and mostly weather, change. We must embrace the moment.

Ralph, wax the snow plow if you wish but don’t forget about mowing the lawn …

So cute! My tomatoes were there yesterday, today…and will be there tomorrow. It is nice that you can find the humor in gardening even in these hot temps!

Humor is a great way to cope, Sage Butterfly. Enjoy your tomatoes.
