Connecticut Gardener-great local gardening advice

Want to learn more about Gardening under the Canopy, Itoh Peonies, Gypsy Moths, Invasive Burning Bush, and more? Watch for the March/April 2017 issue of Connecticut Gardener, a must-read for gardeners in zones 5-7.

I contributed ‘Adapting to Deer in the Landscape’ to this issue, offering hints on how to grow lovely gardens, such as the one below, in deer-frequented landscapes.

Spring shades of deer-resistant perennials.

But there’s much more to learn from the rest of the articles.

Advance copies of the March/April 2017 will be available at booth #831 at the CT Flower and Garden Show. Past issues will also be available for purchase. To be sure you don’t miss any of the informative articles consider subscribing to Connecticut Gardener.

I’ll have to be sure to pick this up at the CT garden show tomorrow as I recently moved to deer country. Last year diligent spraying keep them away but as I expand the gardens at my new house I think my problems with deer will expand as well.
