  • Laurrie: Your blooms are lovely and precocious I think! Like Layanee's, my clematis is only in bud, yours are so much further along. And my iris (I have Beverly Sills too) is only budding, nowhere near open yet. How different each garden is, even in the same general area. Happy Spring!

Today I had my teenage sons in the garden with me - complaining about pruning and 'having' to work with me on Mother's Day, while my neighbor was out in her garden with her 2-year old daughter planting...
• Love Cilantro? You Can Grow That!:
  • joenesgarden: Jeannie, the plants do not like heat. You don't say where you are gardening but if you can start seeds in time for cilantro to mature in cool temperatures you may have success. Good luck.
